Today's class in 2nd period

Today I had English Linguistics class in 2nd period. This class is very difficult for me. Today's topics is about the alphabet of English culture. When I was asked the diffrence of American English and BritishEnglishby professor, I didn't know. However I'm major in English, I was ashamed that I couldn't answer this probrem. I thought I have to study English more.
