Next I explain to TAIPI-EN, which it is soup with a bean- starch vermicelli. in short, It's a chinese food but not really one. In the past time, immigrant from chinese came to Kumamoto. So they formed own culture, where TAIPI-EN was made by them. Also they taught Kumamoto's people how to make it, but it changed the shape day by day, Now it is different from past one. School lunch in Kumamoto is sure served for it.
